Privacy Policy

Text-message privacy

Our optional Wild Ginger III Order & Service Updates program sends information about a transaction or service you request. When you choose the text-message option, we use the mobile number you provide to send relevant order updates, such as confirmation, acceptance or rejection, changes, pickup readiness, dispatch, or cancellation. If a waitlist texting option is offered and you select it, we may also text about your place on that waitlist or when your table is ready.

Texting is optional. Entering a phone number for an order, creating an account, accepting the website terms, or submitting a job application does not by itself enroll you in this SMS program. At checkout, you opt in by selecting the separate text-message checkbox and submitting the order. Any other enrollment option must identify the messages you are agreeing to receive.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We do not sell or rent mobile numbers.

We retain the consent choice associated with your request, related message and delivery records, and opt-out instructions to administer the program, respond to issues, and document your choices. An opt-out record may be retained so that we continue to honor it even if other information is deleted.

Message frequency varies with your orders, service requests, and status changes. A single order may generate more than one text. Message and data rates may apply under your mobile plan. We do not charge a separate enrollment fee.

To stop texts: reply STOP to the number that texted you. You may receive one message confirming the opt-out. Further program messages from that number will stop unless you choose to enroll again. Stopping texts does not cancel an order or remove you from a waitlist; contact the restaurant separately for those changes.

For help: reply HELP to a program message, or call Wild Ginger III at (215) 862-1777. To resume after opting out, reply START or UNSTOP to the same number, where supported, and select the relevant text option when making a new request. A new checkout selection alone may not reverse a carrier-level block.

For the complete program conditions, read our SMS Terms & Conditions.

Information we collect

• Orders and service requests: your name, phone number, email if supplied, items and options, special instructions, order totals, payment status, and pickup or delivery details. Delivery information may include your address, unit, and delivery instructions. Reservation or waitlist forms, when offered, may ask for your party size, requested time, and contact details.
• Customer accounts: sign-in and account information, order history, and the preferences or saved details you choose to keep. If you use a third-party sign-in option, we receive the profile information that service makes available for signing in, such as your name and email.
• Payments: information entered into the designated payment fields is processed by the payment services used for checkout. Order records can include the amount, payment status, transaction reference, and limited payment-method details. Do not send full card numbers, security codes, or banking information through special instructions, application forms, or text messages.
• Job applications: the contact details, position, availability, experience, answers, and any requested photo you submit. Please do not include Social Security numbers, financial information, or other information unrelated to the application.
• Communications and consent: questions you send us, message content, communication preferences, and records of enrollment or opt-out requests.
• Website operation: technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, requested pages, service logs, and cookies or browser-storage identifiers. If you choose a location feature, your browser may ask permission to use your location to show nearby restaurants or distances.

How we use information

We use information to prepare and fulfill orders; process payments and refunds; manage accounts, reservations, or waitlist requests; provide updates you requested; answer questions; review job applications; and maintain transaction records. We also use relevant technical information to keep the website working, recover interrupted submissions, investigate errors or misuse, and protect customers and the restaurant.

The order-update checkbox is for service communications. It does not sign you up for advertising, coupons, or promotional SMS messages. Reviewing this policy or using the website is not a substitute for your separate consent to texts.

Who receives information

Restaurant staff receive the information needed to handle your order, request, or application. We use service providers for online ordering, hosting, account access, payment processing, message delivery, and other functions needed to provide the service. They receive information relevant to the work they perform. A delivery service may receive the contact and address details needed to complete a delivery you requested.

We may disclose information when required by law or a valid legal process, to respond to fraud or security incidents, or to protect legal rights.

All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies, browser storage, and external services

Cookies and browser storage support sign-in sessions, your bag, order drafts, preferences, and recovery after an interrupted request. Browser settings can restrict or remove this storage, but doing so may sign you out, clear saved progress, or prevent some features from working.

Links to maps, delivery partners, social sites, or other external services take you to services with their own privacy practices. Third-party sign-in and payment options also have their own terms and privacy notices. Review those notices before providing information.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose it was collected, including fulfillment, customer support, account administration, hiring review, recordkeeping, dispute handling, security, and legal obligations. Different records may be kept for different periods. Opt-out and related consent records may need to be retained to respect your communication choices.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect information. No website, storage system, or communications network can be guaranteed completely secure. Keep account access information private and avoid placing sensitive information in order notes or text messages.

Your choices and requests

You can leave optional fields and the SMS checkbox unselected, manage available account details, use browser controls for storage and location permissions, and stop texts using STOP. If you would like to ask about, correct, or request deletion of information held by this restaurant, call (215) 862-1777 or write to the address below. We may need to verify your identity and understand the request before responding.

Some information may need to be retained for a pending order, payment or refund, legal recordkeeping, security, or to honor an opt-out. Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional privacy rights. We will review requests in accordance with the requirements that apply to us.

These services are intended for restaurant customers and applicants, not for collecting personal information from children. A parent or guardian who believes a child submitted personal information can contact us to request a review.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as services or requirements change. The effective date above identifies the current version. A policy update does not itself enroll you in texts, expand the subject of your SMS consent, or reverse an opt-out.
